Common Questions

How much can a worn bore grow before it needs fixing?
Typically 0.5mm of wear starts to cause problems. Beyond 1-2mm you've got pins knocking, lubrication failing and greases running straight through. That's when you call.
Does the boom need to come off?
No. That's the whole point of on-site line boring, Tom's portable kit sets up directly on the machine. Boom stays put.
What size bores can you do?
Typically 40mm up to around 150mm. For anything bigger or smaller, ring Tom and have a chat about your specific machine.
How long does a line bore take?
Per bore, around 2-4 hours including welding, setup and finishing. A full 2-pin digger boom is usually half a day to a day.

Machine down? Ring Tom.

A quick phone call and a photo are usually all Tom needs to give you an honest price and a realistic timeframe.
